General Update

A continued thank you for everything you are doing for our community to remain COVID-19 aware.

While we are all hearing very positive news regarding the vaccination efforts, the hard reality is that we are still very much in a fight against COVID-19. In fact, as COVID-19 has surged again in the greater community, Andrus on Hudson (AOH) has been impacted these past several weeks. There has been an increase in the number of positive cases among residents, primarily in clusters.

We assure you, all necessary steps are being taken to contain the cases to these clusters and treat affected residents.

Help has arrived in the form of vaccinations. We are pleased to say most residents have received the vaccine. Our overall management of the virus continues to strengthen. AOH now has testing capabilities (rapid and PCR/Lab) for prevention, early intervention and additional treatment options such as monoclonal antibodies if needed.

To further aid in prevention efforts, AOH does not admit any new residents from hospitals or other settings until they have a negative COVID-19 test prior to discharge.

Communication remains critical. We will continue to provide updates and information via AOHNotify and other direct communications. The entire team at AOH has been ceaseless with their hard work and dedication to the well-being of residents and ensuring loved ones remain well-informed.
