Important Covid Information

As indicated in a prior posting, Covid cases are rising in the greater community (Westchester County and surrounding areas) and we are seeing an increasing trend of cases at AOH.

Due to a cluster (4) of new cases on our third floor (long-term care) out of an abundance of caution- we are requiring all visitors to the third floor to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support as we implement enhanced measures for the protection of our residents and staff.

Fortunately, no residents are experiencing severe illness at this time.

Additional information:

  • Third floor residents will not be able to dine in the downstairs dining room until cleared by our medical staff and Infection Preventionist RN

  • We are expanding infection control measures in the affected area with additional intensive cleaning, PPE protocols for staff and visitors, modifying programming and other measures as necessary for the protection of all residents and staff.

We will continue to keep you updated via AOHNotify and signage in the building. Thank you again for your support and patience.
