This afternoon we received updated rules from the NY Department of Health (DOH) regarding visiting residents/patients:
Visitors will be required, effective tomorrow 1/13/22 to test for Covid-19 and have a negative test result prior to visitation:
If rapid test, test needs to be in the last 24 hours (prior to visiting)
If PCR test, test needs to be in the last 48 hours (prior to visiting)
If you are visiting every day, proof of a test is needed, at a minimum, every third day (for example: day 1, 4, 7, etc.)
If a compassionate visit is granted, proof of test is not required
