This past weekend brought more news of COVID-19 cases/positive tests increasing in the downstate area.
We remain laser focused on continually enhancing processes already in place and working on new ones to help safeguard the residents of AOH and serving a vital role in the healthcare system.
Recent additional safeguards:
* Unfortunately the beauty salon has been temporarily closed until further notice out of an abundance of caution
* On a daily basis, upon entry-- all employees have their temperatures taken and participate in other screening processes
* The front entrance is locked and the building cannot be accessed except by electronic entry/video/call request for entry
* The AOH COVID-19 Task Force meets daily in order to be proactive and respond to any potentially emerging issues-- this includes closely monitoring and ensuring PPE (personal protective equipment), sanitation products and other supplies are available and utilized properly

Community Life and other departments are working hard every day to conduct smaller group and one-on-one recreational therapy.
