Temporary Suspension of Visitation * Revised with updated information*

Andrus on Hudson conducts regular weekly testing of employees for COVID-19. We just received notification that we had 1 positive result-- an employee that was/is asymptomatic.

The threshold requirement for taking the measures explained below is 2** or more positive cases. (**previously reported as 1, however due to extended testing/processing times, we received a 2nd positive test result, also asymptomatic--- the timeline for visitation remains the same)

Out of an abundance of caution and in compliance with new regulations, the following will occur:

  1. All visitation must be temporarily suspended for 14 days (including currently scheduled visitation). If, after 14 days, we have no other positive cases we may resume visitation.

  2. Currently, there are no suspected/symptomatic resident cases of COVID-19 but as a preventive measure we must (and are required to) test all residents for COVID-19. We are currently in the process of reaching out to all residents and responsible parties to communicate this information.

We appreciate your understanding as we take necessary measures to protect residents, visitors and staff.

Please check AOHNotify for future updates.
