Update/ AOHNotify

It has been some time since an update was posted on AOHNotify. As mentioned in a prior post, AOHNotify was designed and put into service around Feburary 2020 when it became clear that Covid was emerging and would potentially turn into a pandemic.

We are currently working on transitioning AOHNotify "Notify" to a general information source for ( though not exclusively) Andrus on Hudson patients, residents and loved ones. Notify will remain a trusted source for urgent and important communications but it will also provide more programmatic and related updates and information with regular frequency. Please be on the lookout for more information regarding this change, we expect the rollout of this new component by the end of the year.

Other updates:

  1. Covid-19 remains in a "high transmission" status throughout Westchester County and in most parts of New York and the region. We work hard to make sure we remain in full compliance with infection control regulations and internal protocols.

  2. As always, if you are unwell please do not visit loved ones to protect them and others against the many illnesses that became more prevalent this time of year in addition to Covid-19.

  3. We began a new referral program for families/loved ones, please see Robert at the front desk for more details.

  4. Our clinical team has done an exceptional work with making sure Covid booster and Flu vaccines are being offered to all residents, patients and employees-- and we appreciate their efforts to keep everyone well!

Thank you for your continued support of Andrus on Hudson! We making decisions about donating to charitable organizations, please consider donating to Andrus on Hudson.

Andrus on Hudson is dedicated to John E. Andrus’ desire to provide “rest to the aged.” Andrus is an unique community resource committed to sound staffing ratios, expert clinical care and clean, modern facilities.

However, with falling reimbursements from the Medicare/Medicaid programs and ever rising costs in healthcare, Andrus needs your support to help maintain its proud tradition of providing top-tier services for the community.

As a result, we look toward fundraising and other business opportunities to generate extra revenue to fill the gap. Your donation to Andrus will make a big difference in the lives of our residents; helping them age with grace, companionship and peace of mind in a stimulating and secure environment. Your support will be used to help provide:

  • Recreational activities

  • Outings and special events

  • Art, music and computer classes

Andrus on Hudson is qualified as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
