As referenced on prior posts, one of the requirements for easing visitation restrictions for Andrus on Hudson (and other facilities in NY) is that we must have had a 28 day period with no new COVID-19 cases among residents or staff.
We are pleased to announce that we have crossed that 28 day threshold.
However, the easing of restrictions on visitation is not automatic as we are required to wait until formal authorization and approval of our plan is received from the NYS Department of Health. By regulation we were not allowed to obtain approval of our main opening plan prior to moving past the 28 day marker however, we did submit a required safety plan several weeks ago.
We do not anticipate an extended delay to receive approval and once approved, this initial phase plan will be communicated via AOHNotify.
